On March 9, 2024, the 4th Chaoyang District Bar Association Litigation Business Research Association held a special seminar on "Focusing on the productization of criminal civil cross legal services" at Beijing Huixiang Law Firm. The seminar invited Lawyer Zheng Chuankai, Deputy Director of the Criminal Civil Cross Committee of the Beijing Bar Association, to give a lecture. Our Director Liu Gangming, as a supervisor of the Chaoyang District Bar Association, attended the meeting and participated in the special seminar.

Lawyer Zheng Chuankai brought a knowledge sharing session on "Focusing on the productization of cross disciplinary legal services between criminal and civil law - also discussing the career path of lawyers in the new situation" to the conference. Lawyer Zheng first clarified a viewpoint: cross disciplinary legal services - criminal and civil law are intertwined and inseparable. He believes that cross disciplinary legal services are widely present in real life and judicial practice, and it is worth lawyers to open up a market and create a "productized" service concept to serve our clients well.

Director Liu Gangming expressed his agreement with this in the following speech and expressed his own views. Director Liu believes that:

1. Cross disciplinary cases between criminal and civil law are very common in practice, and it is worth our lawyers to dig deeper and learn from them. Acting well in "cross disciplinary cases between criminal and civil law" can reflect our emphasis on maintaining customer relationships, actively seeking market opportunities, and in line with our social responsibility of "caring for the world and shouldering missions" and our practice philosophy of "diligence and responsibility, striving for excellence".

2. Lawyers should take advantage of this seminar to learn together, make progress together, create a reasonable and orderly market competition order, resolutely resist the rare phenomenon of low price malicious competition in the market, and jointly promote the healthy development of the legal industry.

3. Every lawyer should adhere to their professional ethics and moral bottom line, prioritize the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of their clients, avoid the occurrence of complaints, be diligent and responsible, devote themselves wholeheartedly to their work, and strive to be a good lawyer who satisfies their clients.
